Daisy Delight Creation Club for September

The Creation Club ladies are getting their Daisy Punch this month, so I really enjoyed designing their cards. I love this punch.

I started with making some 3 inch sized cards, just because I see examples of them online and I wanted to see how big they actually are in 'real life', also because they are just the right size for the Daisy.

They are just right for a little card for when you really do just need to say To and From, or just Happy Birthday, from us. Here is a picture of them next to a 10cm x 10.5cm card, which is the card you make by cutting your A4 paper into 3.

They are definitely smaller than the other card, but think of them as a card you might use instead of a tag.

I really love the Daisy Punch, and it was difficult to decide between punching out the thin Whisper White card stock, and the Fresh Florals DSP. The back ground card I am using in the pictures above is called Crumb Cake, that is the colour is called Crumb Cake. It is a good general colour to have in your collection, I haven't come across anything it clashes with yet and it looks lovely with feminine cards like this, or less feminine cards like this Star Trek card I made my husband.

I tried making some cards with the Tranquil Tide card stock and Fresh Fig DSP because I love that colour combo, but it turns out that it really doesn't work for this design.

My favourite card design in the end wasn't even a 10 x 10.5cm design, even though I thought that was the better size for the daisy. This is my favourite.

I apologise for the photo quality, or lack there of. I keep meaning to get serious about photography and ending up running out of time. This card, the one above that I like, is using the Crumb Cake card stock for the base, the thin Whisper White card stock for the daisy, the Tranquil Tide ink pad and Stylized Birthday stamp, and the Powder Pink Designer Series Paper from the Fresh Florals pack.

I made some other cards that I liked, but I suspect my Creation Club members will show me up with their own superior designs.
