Leaf Punch

I am loving the new leaf punch from Stampin' Up!

I have only designed two projects with it so far and I am in love with them both. The above project I have only made, but we made wreaths at a recent card making workshop and I think the ones that the ladies made were just lovely.

I will give you instructions for how to make both of them.

Sheltering Tree and Leaf Punch

The first project, the tree, uses the tree trunk from the Sheltering Tree stamp set from Stampin' Up! and the Chocolate Chip ink pad.

Don't forget, because the Sheltering Tree stamp set is photopolymer, to use your Stampin' Up! Piercing Matt.

Then you simply start punching your leaves using your Leaf Punch and layering them using the Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue from Stampin Up because it has a thin nib. You need to put the glue just along the stem of the leaves so that the leaves themselves can be fanned out and 3D.

If you wanted to have some single leaves at the front then you can either cut up one of your full three leaf branches, or use some scraps and just punch out the leaf using some scraps.

And then you just need to decide what card base is needed.

This project is time consuming, but it really isn't very difficult.

The two finished projects either side of the blue card have Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and (for the one on the right) Rich Razzleberry. The blue card in the middle uses the 2016-2018 In Colors, so Flirty Flamingo, Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy and Peekaboo Peach.
